What are some good questions to ask when interviewing?

Quite often in an interviewer might actually ask you if you have any questions about the job.

This is a great opportunity to show interest in the position by asking about job specific duties. Let’s be honest, although you are the one trying to impress them because you want a job to earn an income; you don’t want to fall into a position that requires things of you that your not willing to commit to.

Some jobs expect newbies to be the ones to be commited to extremely long hours, constant travel, and be willing to work far beyond what they are being paid. Unfortunaltey all of these things are what allow most people to get ahead in this incredibly difficult job market.

I heard a lady say that the average person use to apply or interview about 17 times before actually getting the job, now that number is 37. I can’t imagine going to 37 different job interviews. So if you get a job, thank your lucky stars that you have one. Many people are going hungry, and a lot people I know are going from $60,000 a year to $36,000 a year jobs or even worse. When will this recession end? I personally think its the media’s fault for killing the stock market and hurting the minds of people all over the world with the falacy that we were in a recession or perhaps heading even into a depression. Does this really matter in the grand scheme of things, why doesn’t the government stop screwing us over by signing bogus bailouts and start making the American Dream something obtainable. Raise the minimum wage, restore social security, and create new jobs. Take more out the rich man’s pocket and trickle it down to the bottom, because those people at the bottom are doing all the work and reeping none of the rewards.
